Dear Team Gate participant:

Welcome to Team Gate for the 2008 Gate River Run 15K on March 8th. The following tips should help you have good race and a great day.

  • Remember to wear your Team Gate shirt to make certain that your finish time will count for your Club’s team.
  • Wristbands are required for each person’s admittance to the Gate Governors Club Hospitality Area before and after the race. One wristband per runner will be distributed in advance. Additional family members may receive a wristband on-site at the Gate Hospitality Area.  Please remember that wristbands must be WORN on your person and entrance to the area is by invitation only.  Refreshments will be available before and after the race.  The winning Team Gate trophy presentation will be held at 10:15.  Please remember the hospitality area hours are
    7 am to 12 noon.
  • Arrive at the race early and allow plenty of time to park. PLEASE NOTE THE NEW LOCATION FOR THE STARTING LINE ON GATOR BOWL BLVD., ADJACENT TO JACKSONVILLE MUNICIPAL STADIUM
  • Please note the new 5K start time at 7:45 a.m., and the 15K will start as usual at 8:30 a.m.

The Hospitality Area is located in the large white building behind the stage at the Fairgrounds. Look for the Gate Governors Club banner and the red canopy at the entrance.
